How bright is too bright for my trap?

If it starts to cause eye damage (I.E., the after-image of the light remains present in your field of vision for more than a couple of minutes) then there's a good chance the illumination is too bright.

i made a Prototype for a "Dont-look-directly-into-the-Trap!"-Trap and even i came to the conclusion that this is too dangerous..!
