Should i send it back and hope to god ill be able to find a US version?
Canada is in the same Blu-ray region, Region A, as the US so it should play.

Can any of my friends here help me out ?

Thanks guys.
My US and UK set were region A/B/C coded to play on all, so I would assume Canada's one is the same.

Plus you get to call it SOS Fantomes!

What's going on with the box office for this movie? I haven't seen any numbers since last Thursday (it's not listed on this previous weekends chart at all over at BoxOfficeMojo or TheNumbers), and absolutely nothing about it's Japan release.

2/26 Edit: Finally updated. Nothing from Japan, but at least it's now up to date for everything else.

I hope they sell a Ghostbusters: Afterlife version of the book with information about Gozer just like the one they released in 2016, I really like the new design because it's similar to how it appears in some episodes of The Real Ghostbusters.

I wish so much they would have done the Mini Pufts recreating his original scene. It would have been so cute. Maybe it was not seriously considered but now I really want it. They could have used toy cars and LEGO for the apartment building.

One of my favorite parts was their reaction to the OGB showing up because they remembered them. This would have gone perfectly with that. I’m not gonna forget this now. Haha.

They must have decided to cut the original movie being re-created as an unneeded callback to the original film with so many easter eggs already. I think this would be something cute to add to the sequel if the kids are keeping them as pets. Something similar to Stitch playing Godzilla.

Well it wouldn’t be an exact recreation but a more playful re-enactment.

Have one or more stomp down the toy street acting “scary” instead of walking in a straight line. Climb the building with a Gozer doorway on top also made of LEGO and others throw them off or something. Like they’re playing King of the Mountain but end up toppling it over.

Maybe 1 has a laser pointer like the concepts and blinds them. I don’t think laser pens can burn things. I’ve heard some can but I don’t think Wal-Mart sells those.

I just adore the one with the never ending eating cycle.

Also why is almost every ghost obsessed with consuming in this movie?

Muncher, Mini Pufts, Demon Dog, Miner all are seen wanting a drink or something to eat.

Surprised BugEye isn't haunting some Icescream Store and Gozer removing some tasty Shandor Goo by licking her fingers.

It's something I've been wondering each week as well. It's definitely strange.
Well, at least it's not in the neighbourhood.

Concept art from Thomas du Crest. He's the one who did the artwork used for the cover of The Art and Making of the Movie and he's also revealed his concept of Muncher, admitting an Extreme Ghostbusters influence because he grew up watching the series.

Lightly Googled and found some minor information about Ghostbusters: Afterlife's Japanese performance, which was a big shrug. Crunchyroll (which, coincidentally, is owned by Sony) says it opened at #4 behind JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 in its seventh week, Confidence Man JP Eiyu-hen (another holdover), and What to Do with The Dead Kaiju? (also opening that weekend). No box office figure is provided.

The second weekend, it falls to sixth place, but there is a figure attached: 270m yen, or about $2.7m. It is unclear whether or not this is a cumulative amount based on both weeks or just the figure for the second weekend.

https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/ ... side-story

The third weekend, the film is no longer in the top 10. For reference, Ghostbusters (2016) made $11.9m in Japan. My guess is that Afterlife did squeak by the $200m global mark, as $2.7m is exactly what is necessary given the Box Office Mojo total currently stands at $197.3m.

Muncher is totally inspired by those twin ghosts from Back In The Saddle.

Some points I agree, others that got a nice answer in the comments.

Like, why did Egon show the trap to Phoebe?
Because it was running out of power and the Terror Dog would free itself eventually as we can see in the scene where Grooberson is holding it.

That makes way more sense as Egon uses the Terror Dog to show Phoebe what the stakes are.

Egon using the pke meter in the chair was because he was gonna shock the terror dog with the taser.

Phoebe might have still been skeptical after the chess game or didn’t want to tell anyone about it yet.

Wal-Mart hardly having other people has been brought up a lot. I live in a small town and have been there at night. There’s hardly anyone. I can confirm this is realistic for a small town.

I explain the mini pufts is the power of Stay Puft came with the terror dog and possessed the marshmallows. Since Gozer hasn’t returned yet it’s a weaker form.

The proton packs are not to keep the terror dogs away. They’re for keeping the portal closed. The terror dogs break out of the wall and of course statues in the first.

Gozer might have always had the ability to uncross the streams. He/she was never really hit with them. She dodges them, disappears and brings Stay Puft. They crossed the streams to close the doorway.
